VAHS Coaching changes/announcements

UPDATES Aug 2019: Craig Neuroth was hired by VAHS as an Assistant Wrestling Coach. Welcome Craig to the coaching ranks at VAHS! Coach Wozniak has decided to take on the full head coaching position similar to when he coached at VAHS from 1999-2007.

In the early season recruiting and discussion with our wrestlers we have learned there are some new names coming back and a few new kids at VAHS at the sophomore and junior grade levels. So it looks promising that we will have more young men and women on our team this year. This should help us fill more of the weights this year and give us some much-needed competition in our wrestling practice room at several different weight classes. We are looking forward to a great season!

Co-Head Coach Jason Ott has decided to concentrate his efforts to continue to build the Verona Area wrestling program at the youth and MS levels.

Coach Chris Brown has decided he can not make the time commitment required for a paid coach with his two young children and his career. He plans to continue to volunteer at the HS level.
